Sometimes I can hold a grudge. And for all the cool things Germany has provided the world (BMW, fine watches, good beer, Einstein etc) I have never really let them off the hook for that whole Hitler, genocide, WWII thing. That is before I tried a Hanuta chocolate wafer. These things are simply amazing! They come wrapped in a foil package, and are two nearly square wafers stacked on top of each other. Each wafer is actually two pieces of wafer with a thick chocolate cream holding them together. The wafer is perfectly crispy while the chocolate is sweet with just a hint of bitterness as an end note, like a fine dark chocolate. I usually am not a fan of dark chocolates, but these chocolate wafers are just amazing.
The one tough part about these things is finding them. Luckily, my local convenience store happens to carry them, but you can find them online for a good price. Also for anyone reading this in my local area, I should be getting a box on Friday, so leave a comment, telling me something that Germany needs to apologize for, or should be proud of and I will give you a freebie. (Prices range, my local store sells them for $1.59, I have seen them online for as little as $.89 each)

Where do they sell them?! I live near you, and I need to know this convenience store!
I live near you too. Where is this place? I like anything european.... haha.
And Germany needs to apologize for its obsession with David Hasselhoff.
Well, this sounds extremely lovely, as I am a huge chocolate fan. I expect one tomorrow morning ASAP!!! Also, Germany, not a huge fan. When I visited over the summer the natives were extremely rude and it rained for three days. Oh, I forgot to mention that it was about 40 degrees the entire time...with all that rain...yeah...not so amazing!
German Chancellor Angela Merkel. She is a strong leader who will provide the vision the German people need. Chancellor Merkel is a leader the German people should be proud in having.
The Ritter Sport downstairs in the Barfeteria is pretty tastie.
Unlike the nasty orange chicken I am currently trying not to hurl onto my keyboard.
Good things to come from Germany: Bach, Mozart, & Wagner. Now, where is my sweet?

Haha pretty funny. I feel Hanuta means hazelnut in German, that looks like it's in them. there is no way these are better than Nutella though. Although add some wafers to Nutella and you'd have a winner.
hi! thanks for the crack...i mean, chocolate. you've made my tummy happy. :)
